ABSTRACT
The research found out that most sports lovers in Nigeria cannot find an alternative to print media, therefore need a steady supply of communication medium to the libraries for sports knowledge enhancement. The research also reveals that many people buy only newspapers and magazines which carry detailed sports news around the world. Most Newspapers and magazines publishers now recognise these and devote two or more pages for sports news in order to maintain steady patronage of sports lovers. Daily/Weekly Champion, Daily /Weekly star, National / Sunday concord and third Eye are some of the papers that competent for more patronage of sports. Lovers in Nigeria. Nigeria has come of age and, so we deserve to have information reach us without any conceivable hindrance.
