ABSTRACT
This project is written to help hospitals especially UNTH ITUKU OZALA hospital Enugu in the areas they encounter problems in keeping their attendance scheme for patients and the solution given to tackle those problems such as transforming the existing manual attendance scheme for patients system to new computerized attendance scheme for patients system. The project dwell more on Computer Based Attendance Scheme for Patients. This is to ensure that every nurse comply with her duty schedule. This is implemented with visual basic programming language and Microsoft Access for effective duty roster information keeping.
ORGANIZATION OF WORK
This project work “Design and implementation of Computer Based Attendance Scheme for Patients” is actually organized into two phases, the front page and the main write-ups. The front page comprises of title page, certification page, approval page, dedication page, and acknowledgment, and abstract, organization of work and table of content.
The second page consist of seven chapters, chapter one talks about the introduction to computer attendance scheme for patients information system for nurses, statement of problem, purpose of the study, aims and objectives, scope and limitation of the study.
Chapter two is the review of the relevant literatures.
Chapter three gives the relevant information about the existing system.
Chapter four and five deals with the design and implementation of the new system.
Chapter six is the documentation of the project work while chapter seven comprises of the recommendation, summary and conclusion.
