INTRODUCTION
1.0 Introduction
Delivery is the act through which goods produced are transferred from the production area to the final consumer through different channels. It ensure that people will be able to obtain production when and where needed; it involves the actual movement of product as well as their ownership. To the ultimate consumers processing of any Nigeria company especially Dangote Cement help save difficulties encountered during the delivery of the final product.
The general process of cement delivery is one of the four elements of marketing.
1.1 Theoretical Background
Dangote Cement plc founded 1992 is a publicly traded cement manufacturer headquartered in Lagos Nigeria. The company is engaged in the manufacturing, preparing, exporting, packaging and delivery of cement and related products in Nigeria, west, east and South Africa.
Dangote Cement plc was formally known as "Obajana Cement plc" in July 2010. Obajana Cement plc was incorporated in 1992. Dangote is a subsidiary of Dangote Industries limited and is the largest company traded on Nigeria Stock exchange with three cement plant in: Kogii State, Ibese in Ogun state and Benue State.

The aim of this research work is design and implementation of a cement delivery record system for Dangote Company distributor with the following objectives:

The scope of the research work is on cement delivery record system. The program focuses on the delivery record system of a cement using computer system. The study uses Dangote Cement plc Distrubutor Ikot Ekpene as its case study. dangote is the major producer and deliverer of cement and other products and the delivery is being carried out in large quantities.
1.6 Organization of the Research
This research work is organized into five chapters.
Chapter one gives a general introduction, theoretical background, statement of the problem, aim and objectives of the study, significance of the study, scope of the study, organization of the research and definition of terms.
Chapter two gives the introduction and literature review of the research.
Chapter three deals with system analysis and design which handle introduction, , research methodology , system analysis, analysis of the existing system , analysis of the proposed system, advantages of the proposed system, disadvantages of the proposed system, system design, input layout, program flowchart and output format.
Chapter four is the system implementation and documentation which handles introduction, system design diagram, choice of programming language, analysis of modules, programming environment, hardware requirements, software requirements, implementation.
Chapter five deals with introduction, constraints of the study, summary, conclusion and recommendations are provided in this chapter based on the study carried out.
1.7 Definition of Terms
Cement: This is a powdered material which develops strong adhesive qualities when combined with water which is used in building and all construction works.
Production: Production refers to the process of combining natural or raw materials to form a particular product which could be used in making other things for consumption.
Delivery: This refers to the process of taking the finished product to various locations for it to reach the consumers. It system by whuch products are transferred from the production area to the final consumer through different channels. Delivery started when the idea of producing goods come up, if goods are produced without being sold, it becomes a waste of time, money, resources.
Inventory: Inventory is the process of keeping record of everything that is going on in the company.
Truck: This is an open railway vehicle for carrying goods to different locations.
Plants: It is a factory or place where goods are produced or an industrial process takes place.
Record: A set of related fields in a table that provide information about an entity.
Unit Price: The selling price of one unit of product
