ABSTRACT
The research work on the topic “Improving Agricultural Production Through Cooperative using Enugu North Local Government Area Cooperative as a case of study was carried out survey the programmes and policies constituted by government to mobilize peasant farmers into agricultural cooperative and functional ones more productive as a way of facilitating the attainment of self – sufficiency in agricultural productivity in the country.
The general constraints that affect the achievement of the objective in Enugu North Local Government Area was identified.
These include ill conceived and inefficient extension services.  Inadequate farm storage facilities and organize marketing outlets, use of crude farming implements, complex land tenuse system non restriction of membership which might bring in people of characters whose membership may lead to the down fall of the society among others.
Finally, my special thanks goes to God Almighty for giving me the soul inspiration to carry out this work  to my self I can say the host is yet to come.  The academic struggle definitely continues.
