Research questions and hypotheses were set according to the stated objectives. A survey research design was adopted to collect data through the use of adopted questionnaire. The reliability of the instrument was ascertained using Pearson Product Moment Correlation (PPMC) at 0.80 reliability index. Simple random sampling technique was adopted in the study. The respondents comprised 250 teachers, 23 principals, 87 parents and 5 Ministry of Education officials, thus giving a total of 365 respondents. The data were analysed and interpreted through the use of Analysis of Variance. Out of the eight hypotheses tested, seven were retainedafter testing the hypotheses at 0.05 level of significant. The result shows that Parent Teachers? Associationshave contributed a lot in most of the aspects of schools management such as: provision of instructional facilities, decision making process, maintenance of discipline, school-community relations, provision of welfare, health,, games and recreational facilities as well as communication. But on the contrary, little effort was made by parent teachers association in the promotion of interpersonal relationships in secondary schools in Gashu?a and Nguru EducationZones, Yobe State. It is therefore recommended that parent teachers association should try to intensify more efforts in providing the necessary facilities that will enhance teaching and learning in secondary schools in the Gashu?a and Nguru Education Zones. Based on the suggestions made so far, it is advised that a similar research should be carried out but in other Educational Zones in the State. A research on the impact of contributions of parent teachers? association on the management of primary schools in Yobe State should be conductedon the factors that brought about differences in educational quality between public and private secondary schools in Yobe state should equally be undertaken.
