Recommendations were made which included that the Colleges of Education should have their programs and policies properly planned and executed to achieve their goals and objectives, the Colleges of Education should sponsor their staff for development programmes through in-service training to update their knowledge, the Colleges should not depend on government subvention but to look inward for Internally Generated Revenue (IGR) to augment government efforts. Suggestions for further studies were proferred which included replication of the study in other Geo-Political Zones to encourage efficiency in the management of Colleges of Education across the country and critically assess management of other tertiary institutions in the country to ascertain their efficiency in terms of management and ultimately in the achievement of the National Educational goals.
