ABSTRACT
Shopping facilities are characterized with circulation conflict which obstructs the free flow of different movement patterns within the facility. The main cause of these conflicts that results in congestion are the movement patterns of the pedestrians, Vehicles and goods around the functional units within and outside of the facility. With the new trends of shopping coupled with increase in population, income, exposure distribution of trade techniques and recreation, has increased patronage in shopping mall. Circulation is a major factor that needs to be addressed in order to have a smooth and convenient shopping and recreation atmosphere. The scope of this research work is to integrate both shopping and recreational facilities to enhance a good circulation network in shopping malls.
